Notwithstanding anything contained in section two of the M1Ecclesiastical Commissioners Act 1850 the salaries to be paid to the First Church Estates Commissioner and to the Church Estates Commissioner appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury shall be such amounts as may be from time to time fixed by the [F1Board of Governors of the Church Commissioners] with the approval of the Treasury.
