Section 1 (the ecclesiastical courts) is amended as follows.

Omit subsections (1) and (2).

In subsection (3)—
a
for “the said provinces” substitute “the provinces of Canterbury and York”, and
b
omit paragraphs (b) and (d) and the “and” preceding paragraph (d).
