The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the power conferred by section 4(2) of the Bishops and Priests (Consecration and Ordination of Women) Measure 2014 F1, make the following instrument:
Textual Amendments
1.—(1) This instrument may be cited as the Bishops and Priests (Consecration and Ordination of Women) Measure 2014 (Appointed Day No. 1) Instrument 2014.
(2) In this Instrument “the Measure” means the Bishops and Priests (Consecration and Ordination of Women) Measure 2014.
2. Section 1(1) and (so far as not already in force) section 4 of the Measure come into force on the day on which this Instrument is made.

This instrument brings into force, on 14th November 2014, section 1(1) and (in so far as not already in force) section 4 of the Bishops and Priests (Consecration and Ordination of Women) Measure 2014. The remaining provisions will be brought into force at a later date.
