1. These Regulations may be cited as the Meat Preparations (Import Conditions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2024 and come into force on 30 April 2024.
2.—(1) Commission Decision 2000/572/EC laying down the animal and public health and veterinary certification conditions for imports of meat preparations into the Community from third countries(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 3 (import conditions) omit point 3.
(3) Omit Article 4za (transitional modification for imports from certain countries and territories).
3. The following are revoked—
(a)regulation 6(4) of the Animals, Food and Feed (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Amendment) Regulations 2020(2),
(b)the Meat Preparations (Import Conditions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021(3),
(c)the Meat Preparations (Import Conditions) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2021(4),
(d)regulation 2 of the Animal Products (Transitional Import Conditions) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2021(5),
(e)the Meat Preparations (Import Conditions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2022(6),
(f)regulation 3 of the Official Controls and Import Conditions (Transitional Periods) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2022(7), and
(g)the Meat Preparations (Import Conditions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023(8).
