4. The insertion of section 17A(2A) into the 1993 Act by section 50(3) of the 2019 Act has no effect in relation to a person whose licence has been revoked under section 17A(1) of the 1993 Act(1) before the appointed day.
Section 17A was inserted into the 1993 Act by the Management of Offenders etc. (Scotland) Act 2005 (asp 14). Subsection (1) was amended by Section 50(2) of the 2019 Act (commenced 11 October 2019 by S.S.I. 2019/309).
