This Order amends the Firemen’s Pension Scheme 1992 (set out in Schedule 2 of the Firemen’s Pension Scheme Order 1992) (“the Scheme”) as it has effect in Scotland. Some of the amendments introduce new provisions. Other amendments make corrections.

Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) to (5) of the Fire Services Act 19471 and section 122 of the Superannuation Act 1972, as applied by section 16(3)3 of that Act, and all other powers enabling them to do so.
