1. These Regulations may be cited as the Common Agricultural Policy (Direct Payments etc.) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2017 and come into force on 9th October 2017.
2. In schedule 3 (voluntary coupled support) of the Common Agricultural Policy (Direct Payments etc.) (Scotland) Regulations 2015(1), in Part 2 (ovine animals), paragraph 6 is amended as follows—
(a)in sub-paragraph (1), for “An applicant” substitute “Subject to paragraph (1A), an applicant”; and
(b)after sub-paragraph (1) insert—
“(1A) In respect of calendar year 2017, the final date for submitting an application to the Scottish Ministers for a scheme payment in respect of any eligible ovine animal is 30th November 2017.”.
