Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2016 and comes into force on 20th December 2016.
Appointed day
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 is 20th December 2016—
(a)paragraphs 5(b) and (c), 6, 7 and 9 to 12 of schedule 4 (minor and consequential amendments) and section 144(1) (minor and consequential amendments and repeals) in so far as it relates to those paragraphs; and
(b)section 144(2) (minor and consequential amendments and repeals) and schedule 5 (repeals) in so far as they relate to the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003.
