The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Food (Scotland) Act 2015(1).
1. This Order may be cited as The Food (Scotland) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015 and comes into force on 1st April 2015.
2. 1st April is the day appointed for the coming into force of the Food (Scotland) Act 2015, so far as not already in force.

This Order appoints 1st April 2015 as the day on which the Food (Scotland) Act 2015, except sections 60 to 64, will come into force.
Section 60 relates to subordinate legislation, Section 61 to ancillary provisions, Section 62 to crown application, Section 63 to commencement and Section 64 to short title and all these sections came into force the day following Royal Assent, which was granted on 13th January 2015.
