This Order may be cited as the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2014 and comes into force on 22nd March 2014.

In this Order—

• “the Act” means the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012;

• “the 1995 Act” means the Requirements of Writing (Scotland) Act 19952;

• “ARTL System” has the meaning given by section 12 of the 1995 Act3; and

• “electronic communication4” has the meaning given by section 12 of the 1995 Act.
