SCHEDULE 1 S Mark to be used on minced meat to which the derogation in regulation 4 applies

PART 2 S Specifications for the national mark

1.  Any type of font may be used for the national mark so long as it is clearly legible. S

2.  Any colour font may be used for the national mark so long as it is easily visible. S

3.  In the case of prepacked food [F1 and prepacked for direct sale food], the font size used for the national mark must not be smaller than— S

(a) in the case of packages and containers of a size to which Article 13(3) of FIC applies, the font size required for mandatory particulars under Article 13(3) of FIC; and

(b) in the case of other packages and containers, the font size required for mandatory particulars under Article 13(2) of FIC.
