82.—(1) Every benefit to which a person is entitled under the Scheme is payable to or in trust for that person.

(2) No such benefit may be assigned or charged and any such assignation or charge shall be void.

(3) On the bankruptcy of a person entitled to a benefit under the Scheme no part of the benefit passes to any trustee or other person acting on behalf of the creditors, except in accordance with an income payment order or agreement under section 32(2) or (4A) of the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 1985(1).
