1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Water Environment (Shellfish Water Protected Areas: Designation) (Scotland) Order 2013 and comes into force on 22nd December 2013.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003.
2.—(1) Each area of coastal water or transitional water identified in maps 1 to 84(1) is designated as a shellfish water protected area for the purposes of Part 1 of the Act.
(2) The maps referred to in paragraph (1) are the maps prepared for the purposes of this Order and laid before the Scottish Parliament in accordance with section 5A(6) of the Act.
