The Disease Control (Interim Measures) (Scotland) Order 2002S
13.—(1) The Disease Control (Interim Measures) (Scotland) Order 2002 M1 is amended in accordance with this article.
(2) In article 2(1) (interpretation), insert after the definition of “ approved disinfectant ”
““authorised veterinary inspector” means a veterinary inspector authorised by the Scottish Ministers to receive information about diseased animals or carcases, or animals or carcases suspected of being diseased;”.
(3) In the following provisions for “the Divisional Veterinary Manager” in each place where those words occur substitute “ an authorised veterinary inspector ”
(a)article 7(1) and (2) (regulation of shows and exhibitions);
(b)in Schedule 1 (movements not subject to standstill), in paragraph 3(b); and
(c)in Schedule 3 (requirements on markets), in paragraph 7.
