Paragraph (2) applies to an appeal made on or after 1st April 2013 under section 14 of the Theatres Act 196814 in relation to an application of which, in accordance with paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to that Act15, notice was given to the chief constable of a police force.

Notice of an appeal to which this paragraph applies is, despite section 14(4) of the Theatres Act 1968, to be given to the chief constable of the Police Service.
