The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 19(2) and 53(2)(a) of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Crofting Register (Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2012 and comes into force on 13th January 2013.
Amendment to the Crofting Register (Fees) (Scotland) Order 2012
2. In the Table of Fees in the Schedule to the Crofting Register (Fees) (Scotland) Order 2012(2)—
(a)in column 1, in the third entry, for “24(1)” substitute “24(1)(a) or (b)”; and
(b)in columns 1 and 2, omit the fifth entry.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order makes corrections to clarify fees for the registration of common grazings set by the Crofting Register (Fees) (Scotland) Order 2012.
2010 asp 14 (“the 2010 Act”). Section 19(2) is applied, with modifications, to common grazings by section 28 of, and paragraph 12 of schedule 3 to, the 2010 Act and to land held runrig by section 32 of that Act.
