In article 2 of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Scotland) Order 2006 M1 in the definition of “slaughter”, for “killing within the meaning of that term in the Welfare of Animals (Slaughter or Killing) Regulations 1995” substitute “ causing the death of an animal by any process other than slaughter ”.
