13. Where an ex-gratia payment has been made by the Secretary of State on or after 1st February 2001 in consequence of the imprisonment or internment of—
(a)the applicant;
(b)the applicant’s partner;
(c)the applicant’s deceased spouse or deceased civil partner; or
(d)the applicant’s partner’s deceased spouse or deceased civil partner,
by the Japanese during the Second World War, an amount equal to that payment.
