Officers on the staff of special hospitals

R11.—(1) This regulation applies to persons employed on the staff of a state hospital provided under section 102(1) of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(1).
(2) For the purposes of these Regulations, the Scottish Ministers or a Special Health Board constituted under section 2(1)(b) of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 is regarded as an employing authority in relation to officers to whom this regulation applies and the scheme established under section 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972(2) will not apply.
