Coming into force
The Registrar General makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(1) and 19(2) of the Marriage (Scotland) Act 19771 and sections 88(2) and 95(4) of the Civil Partnership Act 20042 and all other powers enabling him to do so.
The Scottish Ministers3 have approved the making of these Regulations in accordance with section 25(1) of the 1977 Act and section 126(3) of the 2004 Act.
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Registration Services (Fees, etc.) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 and come into force on 1st April 2010.

Schedule 3 to the Registration Services (Fees, etc.) (Scotland) Regulations 20064 are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

In Part I (fees payable under the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977), in column 3—
a
for “£28.00” substitute “£30.00”; and
b
for £50.00” substitute “£55.00”.

a
for “£28.00” substitute “£30.00”; and
b
for “£50.00” substitute “£55.00”.
