The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33(2)(a), (3)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (f) and 36(1) and (2)(a) of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1986 c.47. Sections 33 and 36 were amended for purposes not relevant to these Regulations. The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c.46).
