Citation, commencement, extent and application

1. This Order—
(a)may be cited as the Sheep Scab (Scotland) Order 2010;
(b)comes into force on 17th December 2010;
(c)extends to Scotland only; and
(d)does not apply in the local government area of the Shetland Islands(1).

The local government area of the Shetland Islands comprises the area of Shetland Islands Council as set out in section 1(2) of, and Schedule 1 to, the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (c.39). See also the Sheep Scab (Shetland Islands) Order 2003 (S.S.I. 2003/202).
