1. This Order may be cited as the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Designation of Participating Countries) (Scotland) (No. 3) Order 2009 and comes into force on the first day of the month following the expiry of a period of 3 months after the date on which the United Kingdom deposits an instrument of ratification in respect of the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters(1) with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe(2).
