1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Scottish Local Government Elections Amendment Order 2009 and comes into force on 31st March 2009.
(2) This Order shall not have effect in relation to any local government election for which the date of the poll specified in the notice of election issued in relation to that election is on or before 3rd June 2009.
2.—(1) In Part VI of Schedule 1 to the Scottish Local Government Elections Order 2007(1) (forms for use at Scottish local government elections), for Forms 8, 10 and 12, substitute Forms 8, 10 and 12 set out in Schedule 1 to this Order.
(2) For the Form set out in Schedule 4 to that Order (form of postal voting statement referred to in paragraph 21 of schedule 2 of that Order), substitute the Form set out in Schedule 2 to this Order.
