A licence holder must transport a young cat or a young dog directly from the premises specified in the animal dealing licence to its purchaser in Scotland.

It is an offence for a person, without lawful authority or excuse, to contravene or fail to comply with any provision of this regulation, and such a person will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or both.
