1. These Regulations may be cited as the Charities References in Documents (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2008 and come into force on 1st April 2008.
2. The Charities References in Documents (Scotland) Regulations 2007(1) are amended as follows–
(a)in regulation 4(d), delete “bills of exchange”; and
(b)at the end of regulation 4 add–
“(k)bills of exchange, other than those which are cheques within the meaning of section 73 of the Bills of Exchange Act 1882(2)”.
