Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 2004 by designating Galabank, Annan as a sports ground for the purposes of Part II of the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995 (sporting events: control of alcohol etc.). The Order also removes the designation of Raydale Park, Gretna. The amendments reflect changes to football clubs which are members of the Scottish Football League and the location of association football matches in that league.
