Recognition of the Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body

2.—(1) For the purposes of this article, “Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body” means the Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body constituted in accordance with regulation 4 of the National Health Service (Vocational Training for General Dental Practice) (Scotland) Regulations 2004(1).

(2) The Scottish Ministers specify the Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body as a body recognised by them to have been formed for the purpose of performing a function connected with the provision of services under the Act, in terms of section 88(1)(e) of the Act. (Payment of allowances and remuneration to members of certain bodies connected with the health services).

(3) The Scottish Ministers specify the Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body for the purposes of section 88(2)(d) of the Act(2).

The Dentists Vocational Training Appeal Body is a body constituted by regulations made by virtue of Part II of the Act.
