TITLE CONDITIONS

The Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2008

Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 38(4) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 20031 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

They are satisfied as to the matters mentioned in section 38(5) of that Act.

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2008 and comes into force on 30th June 2008.

Additions to the list of prescribed conservation bodies2

Part II of the Schedule to the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 20032 (other bodies) is amended by inserting, in the appropriate places according to alphabetical order, the following bodies:–

  • Dundee Historic Environment Trust;

  • Inverness City Heritage Trust;

  • Sir Henry Wade’s Pilmuir Trust.

This Order amends the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003 by adding Dundee Historic Environment Trust, Inverness City Heritage Trust and Sir Henry Wade’s Pilmuir Trust to the list of prescribed conservation bodies. Conservation bodies are bodies in favour of whom it is competent to create a conservation burden under section 38(1) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003.
