The Scottish Ministers, having received applications from the City of Glasgow Council, Perth and Kinross Council, Aberdeen City Council, Dundee City Council and South Lanarkshire Council under paragraphs 1(1)(d) and 2(1)(c) of Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and having consulted the Chief Constable of Strathclyde Police, the Chief Constable of Tayside Police and the Chief Constable of Grampian Police in accordance with paragraphs 1(3) and 2(3) of that Schedule, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 1(1), 2(1) and 3(3) of that Schedule and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1991 c. 40; paragraphs 1(1) and 2(1) of Schedule 3 were amended by the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (c. 39), Schedule 13, paragraph 171. The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
