5. The form of the application set out in Schedule 4 is prescribed as the form of the application for grant for a means of escape from fire in a house in multiple occupation to be used for the purposes of section 249 of the Act(1).
Section 249 was relevantly amended by the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 (c. 43), Schedule 7, paragraph 15, and Schedule 8, paragraph 7, and by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 10), section 104.
