The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60(1)(e) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of that Act hereby make the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 15th January 2003.

Amendment of the 2001 Regulations

2.  In regulation 13 of the Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Regulations 2001(2) for “£38” wherever that sum appears there shall be substituted “£40”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend regulation 13 of the Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 by increasing the fee for an application to register or vary particulars of a bus service (other than a community bus service) from £38 to £40.
