2.  In paragraph (2) of regulation 1 (Citation, extent, commencement and interpretation) for the definition of “border inspection post” substitute–

• ““border inspection post” has the meaning given by Article 2(2)g of Council Directive 97/78/EC laying down the principles governing the organisation of veterinary checks on products entering the Community from third countries(1)”.
