The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2002 and shall come into force on 21st September 2002.
2. Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1998(2) shall be amended by inserting in that Part the following names in the appropriate places in alphabetical order:–
“Harlaw Park, Inverurie”; and
“Raydale Park, Gretna”.

This Order amends the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/2314) which designates the sports grounds, the classes of sporting events played at those grounds and the classes of sporting events outside Great Britain for the purposes of Part II of the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995 (c. 39). As a result of the amendment, Harlaw Park, Inverurie and Raydale Park, Gretna, become designated sports grounds.
1995 c. 39. The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
