1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 26th June 2001.
(2) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
2.—(1) The Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Regulations 2001(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 8(1) (authorisation of supply points), for the word “, being” there is substituted “may, if”.
(3) In regulation 36 (amendment of the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Regulations 1990), the words “, with effect from 31st January 2001,” are omitted.
