2. The following provisions of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 shall come into force on 29th March 2001:–
(a)sections 1 to 3, 8, 9, 28, 30, 31, 34 and 35;
(b)schedules 1 to 3;
(c)section 36(1), so far as relating to the provision in schedule 4 specified in paragraph (d) below;
(d)in schedule 4, the repeal of section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988(1).
