The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 204 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 16th March 2000.

General fund contribution limits

2.  The amount of contribution out of their general fund which a local authority may estimate that they will carry to the credit of their housing revenue account for the year 2000-2001 shall be limited to nil.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides that local authorities may not include in their estimates for the year 2000-2001 any contribution from their general fund to their housing revenue account.
