1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Exemption from Competition) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 30th June 2000.
(2) In this Order, “the principal Order” means the Local Government (Exemption from Competition) (Scotland) Order 1995(1).
(3) This Order extends to Scotland only.
2. In article 7(2) of the principal Order, for “1st July 2001” there shall be substituted “31st December 2001”.
3. For each date which appears in columns 2 to 9 of Schedule 2 to the principal Order there shall be substituted “31st December 2001”.
4. Articles 3 and 4 of the Local Government (Exemption from Competition) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1999(2) are hereby revoked.
