The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Police Pensions Act 1976(1), after consultation with the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom, hereby make the following Regulations:
1976 c. 35; section 1(1) was amended by the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980 (c. 10), section 2(3); powers of the Secretary of State under section 1 of the Police Pensions Act 1976 are exercisable by Scottish Ministers as regards Scotland by virtue of the Scotland Act 1998 (Transfer of Functions to the Scottish Ministers etc.) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999 No. 1750), article 2 and Schedule 1.
