ARMS AND AMMUNITION

The Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988(Firearms Consultative Committee) Order 2000

  Made 27th January 2000 

In exercise of the power conferred on the Secretary of State by section 22(8) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988[1], I hereby make the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Firearms Consultative Committee) Order 2000.

    
2. The Firearms Consultative Committee shall, following the expiry of the period of its existence specified in article 2 of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Firearms Consultative Committee) Order 1996[2], continue to exist for a period of two years beginning on 1st February 2000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order continues in existence the Firearms Consultative Committee established under section 22(8) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 for a further period of two years from the date of the expiry of the current period of its existence.
