NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, SCOTLAND The National Health Service (Fund-Holding Practices) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993
1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Fund-Holding Practices) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st July 1993. (2) In these Regulations, "the principal Regulations" means the National Health Service (Fund-Holding Practices) (Scotland) Regulations 1993([2]).
2. In paragraph (8) of regulation 5 (appeals to the Secretary of State against refusal of recognition) of the principal Regulations after the words "a member of the practice" the words "or some other person" shall be inserted.
3. In regulation 6 (conditions for continuing recognition) of the principal Regulations at the beginning there shall be inserted the words "Subject to the provisions of Part IV of these Regulations".
4. For paragraph (1) of regulation 17 (payment for goods and services) of the principal Regulations the following paragraph shall be substituted:-
5. In regulation 20 (savings from the allotted sum) of the principal Regulations-
6. For Schedule 3 (services in respect of which a member of a fund-holding practice may receive payment pursuant to an arrangement under regulation 18) to the principal Regulations there shall be substituted the new Schedule 3 set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
