POLICE

The Avon and Somerset Police (Amalgamation) (Amendment) Order 1993

Whereas the combined police authority constituted by the Avon and Somerset Police Amalgamation Scheme 1973 (set out in the Appendix to the Avon and Somerset Police (Amalgamation) Order 1973^[1]) has, under sections 21 and 22 of the Police Act 1964^[2], submitted to me the Scheme set out in the Appendix to this Order for the amendment of the said Scheme of 1973:

Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred on me by the said sections, I, by this Order, approve the Scheme set out in the Appendix to this Order.

This Order may be cited as the Avon and Somerset Police (Amalgamation) (Amendment) Order 1993.
