This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 1989/2470 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Merseyside Residuary Body (Winding Up) (Amendment) Order 1990

Made 8th January 1990
Laid before Parliament 9th January 1990
Coming into force 30th January 1990

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 67(3) of the Local Government Act 1985[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Merseyside Residuary Body (Winding Up) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 30th January 1990.
        2.    The Merseyside Residuary Body (Winding Up) Order 1989[2] is amended as follows:—
       (a) in article 3(5), for the words "the special fund" there shall be substituted the words "the sums referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2)";
       (b) in article 7(2), for the words "article 3(1)" there shall be substituted the words "article 3(2)".
