1. These Regulations may be cited as the Taxis (Taximeters, Devices and Maximum Fares) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2023.

These Regulations amend the Taxis (Taximeters, Devices and Maximum Fares) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 in order to increase the fee payable for the inspection, testing and sealing of an approved taximeter and device from £35.00 to £42.00.
