The Attorney General’s Human Rights Guidance (The Application of Section 5 of the Criminal Law Act (Northern Ireland) 1967 to Rape Victims and Those to Whom They Make Disclosures in Connection With a Claim for Social Security, Child Tax Credit or Anonymous Registration on the Electoral Roll) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Attorney General’s Human Rights Guidance (The Application of Section 5 of the Criminal Law Act (Northern Ireland) 1967 to Rape Victims and Those to Whom They Make Disclosures in Connection With a Claim for Social Security, Child Tax Credit or Anonymous Registration on the Electoral Roll) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018 and shall come into operation on 29th May 2018.

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly(1).

Coming into operation of the guidance

2.  The guidance on international human rights standards relevant to the application of section 5 of the Criminal Law Act (Northern Ireland) 1967 to rape victims and those to whom they make disclosures in connection with a claim for social security, child tax credit or anonymous registration on the electoral roll, in respect of the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland, shall come into operation on the day on which this Order comes into operation.
