Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Attorney General’s Human Rights Guidance (Cooperation and Operational Independence) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on 19th December 2016.
(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly(1).
Coming into operation of the guidance
2. The guidance on international human rights standards relevant to cooperation and institutional independence in respect of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland and Forensic Science Northern Ireland shall come into operation on the day on which this Order comes into operation.
