1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Pensions (Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016.
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 11th October 2016 and shall have effect from 1st April 2016.
2. In these Regulations “the scheme” means the scheme established under The Public Service (Civil Servants and Others) Pensions Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014(1).
3.—(1) The following persons are specified as persons to whom the scheme may potentially relate.
(2) These are—
(a)persons employed by the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman(2).
4. The Public Service Pensions (Assembly Ombudsman for Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015(3) is hereby revoked.
