Coming into operation

The Department for Communities1, with the consent of the Department of Finance, makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 3 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 20142.

In accordance with section 21 of that Act, the Department has consulted with such persons or representatives of such persons as appears to the Department likely to be affected by these Regulations.
