Amendment to the Bookmaking (Forms of Licences) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004

23.—(1) The Bookmaking (Forms of Licences) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004(1) are amended as follows.

(2) For regulation 2(4), substitute—

“(4) Every entry on each licence shall be verified, as the case may be, by the signature of the chief clerk or the clerk of petty sessions.”.

(3) In Form 1 in the Schedule—

(a) in the title, omit “Petty Sessions District of …” and “County Court Division of ….”;

(b) in Part I, after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”;

(c) in Part II—

(i) after “court of summary jurisdiction”, insert “sitting at…”; and

(ii) after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”; and

(d) in Part III—

(i) after “court of summary jurisdiction”, insert “sitting at…”;

(ii) for “[the clerk of petty sessions renewed]”, substitute “[the clerk of petty sessions at …renewed]”; and

(iii) after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”.

(4) In Form 2 in the Schedule—

(a) in the title, omit “County Court Division of ….” and “Petty Sessions District of ….”;

(b) in Part I—

(i) after “Chief clerk”, omit “for the county court division of ….”; and

(ii) after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”;

(c) in Part II—

(i) after “[the court of summary jurisdiction]”, in each place where it occurs, insert “sitting at …”;

(ii) after “Chief clerk”, omit “for the county court division of ….”; and

(iii) after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”;

(d) in Part III—

(i) in section D—

(aa) after “[the court of summary jurisdiction]”, insert “sitting at …”;

(bb) after “Chief clerk”, omit “for the county court division of ….”; and

(cc) after “Clerk of petty sessions”, omit “for the petty sessions district of ….”;

(ii) in section E—

(aa) before “extended”, insert “sitting at …”; and

(iii) in section F—

(e) in Part IV—
