2.—(1) In these Regulations—
“Directive 96/71/EC” means Council Directive 96/71/EC of 16 December 1996 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services(1);
“Directive 2014/67/EU” means Council Directive 2014/67/EU of the European Parliament and the Council on the enforcement of Directive 96/71/EC concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services and amending Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System (‘the IMI Regulation’)(2).
“the Department” means the Department for the Economy.
(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(3) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
